Lectures on the History of Chilean Economy (Sala 705)

Professor Castañeda will hold three Conferences in English Language about the History of Chilean Economy. (The power points of this course are made in English).

This course aims to teach finance and economic events in English as well as encourage the students to learn more of this language and of the history of the chilean economy. Also the professor Castañeda is very honest with the students in terms not create false expectations due to he is not bilingual 100%. However, he believes it will take to give up resistances and fears. In fact, professor Castañeda is convinced that actually it will lead the students to deep and progress in the skills and abilities of the students of USACH. He points out; "that most students will realise they can have a good English, and further it will create a self -taught spirit in terms to learn new topics".

All students must be registered in advance with Jaskara Osterwalder, International Office nº 226- Edificio FAE.

This course is a non-credit course, but at the end, it will be delivered a Certificate of Attendance. There will be soft drinks and cakes during the Lectures.
